7 Days 6 Nights Epic Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Depart for Tarangire National Park  approx 2 hrs drive. After your guide clears with the permits you will be introduced to an armed ranger ready to begin your short walking safari (2-3hr) in the amazing Tarangire national park, the scenery and game viewing on foot is breathtaking, return to your vehicle and later proceed with game drives. Exit the park  for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Manyara National Park
After breakfast depart for lake Manyara national park, approx 40mis drive with packed lunch. Venture into this jewel below the escarpment of the great rift valley for extensive game drives to the hotspings in the almost edge of the park. Later in the afternoon depart the park and head to lake Eyasi approx 2.5hrs drive for dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 3: Lake Eyasi
After very early breakfast, meet the Hadzabe tribe one of the last hunter and gatherer’s in the world, like the bushmen they communicate by the so called click language. For those interested in joining a hunt with the men, then you will be able to venture with them in their hunting ground and get to experience their ways. They live in harmony with another tribe called the Datoga, also a visit to them is worth it. They are the black smith and experts in making various tools. Later in the late afternoon visit the seasonal shallow salt lake on the floor of the great rift valley and drive to  dinner and overnight approx 2hrs.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast depart for Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro conservation area, approx 4 hrs drive with stops here and there for game and landscape viewing. Arrive Serengeti and venture into the central part of the park for game drives, later in the late afternoon return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast venture into the Serengeti wilderness with packed lunch for full day game drives. Your guide will find a pristine location for lunch and proceed with game drives until later in the late afternoon depart to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast venture into the Serengeti for the last time for game drives with packed lunch, depart for Ngorongoro a little before mid day and proceed to Ngorongoro highlands. Stop at the crater rim where your guide will introduce you to an armed ranger for 1-1.5hrs optional crater rim walk or 1 hr Maasai cultural interaction and later proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.ro.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast descend down the Ngorongoro crater with packed lunch for game drives, one of the world’s largest unbroken crater, experience this jewel and search for the charismatic black rhino, it is here where many conclude to have seen the big five. Drive back to Moshi/ Arusha or drop off at the airport later in the afternoon.
